Atena, a young girl, is born to parents whose faces are burnt by acid throwing. While struggling in her relationship with her parents, she gets involved with Soheil, a mysterious young Sufi. Soheil believes in the mortification of the flesh to become the favorite disciple of God and asks his few followers to practice self-harm too. This leads to the shocking death of Atena’s friend, who was buried alive by Soheil’s command. Now, Soheil and Atena must repent.
